Theoretical studies of magnetic systems : methodological developments and applications
ICQC 2018 satellite meeting organized by Nathalie Guihéry and Jean-Paul Malrieu
13-16 June 2018, Hôtel d’Assézat, Toulouse
The conference gathers theoreticians, specialists of correlated methods and applications to magnetic molecules and materials. Specific conferences will be respectively devoted to challenges in magnetism from an experimentalist point of view and promising methodologies for the treatment of highly correlated systems by experts in methodology.

LTTC winter school 2018
The 2018 edition of the LTTC winter school will be organized in Luchon Superbagnères (France) within the framework of the School for advanced sciences of Luchon. The school will be held from January 29th to February 8th 2018 and is organised, among others, by Arjan Berger, Jérôme Cuny and Stefano Evangelisti.
It will be structured as a series of one-day tutorials on different topics concerning Theoretical Chemistry (Master/PhD level). As in previous years the focus of the school is the translation of theory into computer code. Therefore much time will be allotted to hands-on tutorials.
The school will be held at the "Grand Hôtel" in Luchon-Superbagnères which is a ski-resort in the French Pyrenees with a spectacular setting.
The registration fee is 150€ (this includes all participation costs, except the travel expenses to and from Toulouse airport).
For more details, please visit the workshop web page
If you would like to attend, please :
1) Register using the contact form in the web site before October 31th. Note that the students who attended to the 10th Edition of the TCCM International Intensive Course,as well as NEXT graduate students, will have priority to attend the school.
2) Pay the registration fees (150€) before November 30th (you will receive an email explaining how, and further instructions).
Theory days on Electronic correlations out of equilibrium
28-30 November 2018, Toulouse
Arjan Berger is a member of the organizing committee
The objective of this workshop is to explore the possible or the already implemented solutions which allow one to describe out-of-equilibrium electronic correlations, to share our knowledge, to identify the important and still open issues, as well as the future directions.

XVIth RCTF
8-12 October 2018, LCC Conference Room, Toulouse
Fabienne Alary and Isabelle Dixon are the conference chair and co-chair
The Rencontre des Chimistes Théoriciens Francophones is the biennial reference event of the French network of theoretical chemistry (RFCT).
They aim at bringing together all researchears in Theoretical Chemistry. A wide range of topics will be covered, from cutting-edge methodological developments to applications pushing the boundaries of the most modern theoretical and computational chemistry methods.
The XVIème RCTF are organized by the main players of theoretical chemistry in Toulouse : LCPQ, LPCNO, CEMES, LAAS, LCC and CIRIMAT.
This edition will take place from 8 to 12 October 2018 in Toulouse, in the Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry (LCC-CNRS) building.
