He’ll give a seminar on Thursday 28th September untitled "Tight-binding Density Functional Theory (DFTB) - an approximate Kohn-Sham DFT scheme".

From September 11th to 22nd, Christian Schön, from the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, is invited in the labo by Mathias Rapacioli (MAD group). He’ll give a seminar on Thursday 14th September.

Miroslav Ilias from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Matej Bel University is visiting the LCPQ from June 12th to 16th 2017. He will be in Trond’s office during his stay.

For more informations, you can visit his personnal webpage.

Michal Repisky from the Centre for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry at the Tromsø University is visiting the LCPQ from May 29th to June 2nd 2017. He will be in Trond’s office during his stay.

For more informations, you can visit his personnal webpage.

Stefan Knecht from the ETH Zürich (Switzerland) is invited professor at the LCPQ (NEXT) and will be in the laboratory (in Hélène’s office) during 15 days starting from January 9th 2017 and 15 more days in June.

His main interests are the development of novel (relativistic) multiconfigurational wave function approaches based on DMRG. For instance, Stefan Knecht, implemented the DMRG-SCF interface with RASSI in MOLCAS. For your informations, the corresponding MOLCAS version is compiled on sv26.

Stefan Knecht will give a seminar January 12th.
