Photoreactivity of ruthenium complexes with biomolecules

F. Alary, M. Boggio-Pasqua, J.-L. Heully ; collaboration : P. Vicendo (LIMRCP, Toulouse).

This project is based on a joint experimental and theoretical study of the photoreactivity of ruthenium complexes towards DNA or metalloproteins. From a theoretical point of view, it is meant to decipher, on a molecular level, the interactions involved between certain molecules and their biological targets. This may help to design more selective or more effective compounds.
