Elise LOGNON, a M2 student in theoretical chemistry in Montpellier, starts a 6-month research internship on the ANR Photochromics project under the direction of Martial Boggio-Pasqua. She will study the mechanism of photo-isomerization of derivatives of dihydropyrene by approaches based on multiconfigurational wave functions (CASSCF, CASPT2, ...) and on DFT (TD-DFT, SF-TD-DFT). She is located in office 216.
Martin van HORN is an Erasmus Master student in the GMO team. He comes from the University of Amsterdam and will work on X-ray spectroscopy. He will be present in the laboratory from May 6 to December 1, 2019.
